1. How long have you been involved in the scene?
In 1997 me and my mate Rusty founded the Gunshot Kru and started promoting parties. This is what got the ball rolling.
2. What are your plans for the rest of this year?
Make as much tunes as I can, smashing the dancefloors and besides that create the ultimate bassline!
3. How did you get into what your doing ?
It all started with the Atari, a keyboard, the wish to produce Gabba and my families support!
4. Do you remember your first Rave?
My first party was one of our own parties, because back then I was just fifteen and couldn’t get into the clubs. My first big rave must have been Innovation 2001 in Mannheim, which was really impressing! I still got the Mickey Finn tape from back then on heavy rotation on my shower-radio.
5. Can you remember your first play out?
The first time I stood on the decks was at our Gunshot-Kru 5 year’s bash where I played a b2b set with my mate Elistha. Before that I was doing live-drums to our Djs which was really nice but always a lot to carry around.
6. Who in the scene inspired you to want to be a part of it?
I think that must have been Hype! That old True Playaz sound infected me.
7. Do you feel the scene is in a healthy state ?
I can only speak about Germany and here it is all good!
8. where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In a big castle with a big pool and subwoofers installed in every wall or in a 15qm flat with no hot water – who knows…
9. What was the first record you bought?
The first Drum&Bass record was a V-Recordings Remix EP of autumn and closer.
My really first record though was a Gabba Record: Dj Rob & Mc Joe – Let the bass control!
10. What other types of music do you listen to?
I’m very open minded and listen from Reggae over Hip Hop to Jazz nearly everything. Only what I don’t like is this target-group-7-to-14 charts music, this extreme cheesy R’n’B stuff and this ultra-evil gangster rap shit.
11. What tune are you excited about at the moment?
I’m really excited about all new tunes from Vice Versa, which are Tomi Kain and Eddie K. Their stuff is really sick and exactly my kind of style!
12. What did you have for breakfast this morning?
0,1% fat yoghurt with a banana. Have to get rid of my Christmas weight.
13. Do you play any sport?
I do a bit of workout but that’s pretty much it. In summer I go swimming nearly every day but the rest of the year I’m a lazy bastard.
14. What football team do you support?
I would say…Germany! Not into any special team though.
15. What’s the most interesting place you have been to?
Kool FM last month! Just getting there was like in an Al Pachino movie!
16. How many pairs of trainers do you own?
Only two pairs. A dirty pair for the raves and a clean pair for the rest.
17. Do you have any pets?
Nope. I have a cactus which crawls around the thin line between life and death.
18. when you was a raver Who was your favourite dj ?
That’s hard to say. There where a lot of Djs I liked and still like.
19. Whats your favourite Tv Show ?
MatT Groening is my Hero! Simpsons to the fullest!
20. Any shout outs?
Big up my Gunshot Kru family! Big up Spice! Big up Tobie from NuUrban!
Big Up the Music Mafia/Vice Versa Crew Tomi Kain, Eddie K and MC Rhymes!
…and Big up all the junglets & junglists out there!
